Choice of music video

I have chosen to use this song from the audience feedback that I was given It is a cover by Madilyn Bailey and Alex G of Too Close by Alex Clare. I think that it is a good beat which isn't too fast or slow. I also think that it suits the target audience I have chosen to aim my music video at. I think the song itself sounds edgy and completely different to the original song which I think it makes it more modern with a twist. The video these artists have created for their version of this song is just of them singing with quite simple shots of their faces and instruments. I don't think I will use the same sort of composition for my own music video as I think it is too simple 

This is the original music video by Alex Clare is very different to the cover I have chosen to use, it is very upbeat and the video doesn't seem to link with the song very well. It is very fast pace and has a story line that is more of the action genre than more of a heartfelt song full of feeling that the songs lyrics give off. It has a very different look to some of the conventional music videos, even though it still shows Alex Clare singing the rest of the video doesn't fit together with the lyrics. I don't think I am going to create a video like this because it doesn't seem to go with the lyrics and song.
