Brief

I will be retaking my media A2 coursework, I will be doing this piece of coursework.

BRIEF:

1. A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, together with two of the following three options:
2. a website homepage for the band;
3. a cover for its release as part of a digipak (CD/DVD package);
4. a magazine advertisement for the digipak (CD/DVD package).

I have decided I am going to work on my own on my Media Music video project as I personally think that I will get things done a lot quicker and more efficiently. 

I have both decided on making a music video, a cover release as part of a digipak and a magazine advertisement for my coursework.

I have decided on researching into some different, less conventional types of music to see if I could find anything suitable for my music video. I am going to try to look into artists that are not as well known in the music industry as I think my audience will be more interested into what it is going to sound like and what the video is like. They will also not have any idea on what the video might look like as they may not have heard it before. I am going to try to target a music genre which would interest our own age group, 16-18 years of age and probably girls in particular. I am going to keep my options open when deciding what music to use, whether it is a single artist or a band. This means I will research into lots of different genres of music and then from there decide what will be the best genre for my target audience.
